I had a problem with installation via word press dashboard
I followed the instructions carefully and no way would the images show on the page. So I deleted the plugin from word press then I FTP up into the plugin directory and activated it.
Still would not work but I got a message saying ‘The thumbnails cache folder is not writable’ Strange but I never got this message when I used the word press upload.
So back to FTP and I changed permissions from 755 to 777
It works.
